Would you be interested to know that the Ministry of Income Assistance gives about $35 per day per man in recovery? Almost ALL the men at Joshua House are on this program. And this amount simply does not cover the costs of adequate care. Food, housing, good staff-to-client ratio, program costs, transportation costs to meetings, appointments, etc., rental of the properties, and the list goes on.
So the fundraisers are critical and the money raised goes directly to keeping men in beds.
IT CAN BE STRESSFUL NOT KNOWING EACH YEAR IF WE WILL BE ABLE TO PULL OFF ENOUGH FUNDRAISERS AND RAISE ENOUGH MONEY TO EVEN KEEP THE DOORS OPEN. SOMEHOW GOD HAS ALWAYS PROVIDED
The Restoring Hope Motorcycle Rally was Held in July and was a huge success in only its second year. Nearly $19,000 was raised, over 50 riders and a great time was had by all.

Abbotsford Airshow Cleanup The men from Joshua House clean up the garbage and construct the floor for the VIP seating. Money raised $9000
