FURNACE AND BOILER MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION
Installation/Replacement: If your equipment is aged and malfunctioning, or you’re ready to upgrade, give us a call for a free in-home quote on all aspects of HVAC.
Maintenance: It’s important to have your furnace or boiler inspected once a year to ensure your equipment is running as efficiently as possible. Our friendly, certified technicians will clean and inspect your heating system to identify any necessary repairs or gas leaks to ensure your family is safe and warm this winter.
Yearly Furnace Maintenance
What’s Included:
- Inspect and clean unit
- Check Thermostat for operation
- Check for gas leaks
- Inspect venting Indoor/Outdoor
- Check sequence of operation
- Pilot light check (Units using thermocouple)
- Check belt and motors
- Change Filter (Make note of filter size) ** Basic filter 16inch x 25inch x 1inch – any other filter will result in higher charge
- Check heat ducts for flow and cleanliness (Recommend duct cleaning if dirty)
- Check home for working Co Detectors. Location and Age
Boiler Maintenance
What’s Included:
- Visual check of outside unit. Location, Distances from Combustibles, and Venting
- Note Age/Make/Model
- Note Boiler Type – High efficient, Combi, or Atmospheric
- Check all major components – Air Elimination, Pumps, Valves, Zone Valves, Expansion Tank, Water Make Up, Condensate Lines, Pressure, and Check for Signs of Leaking_
- Check Thermostats and Zone Valves to ensure working and firing unit.
- Check Pumps to Confirm Circulation
- Check Gas Piping for Leaks, Gas Pressure, Clock Appliance.
- Inspect Burner and Atmospheric Type Boilers
- Check Co Levels
- Check High & Low Limits for Operation
- High-Efficiency Open Panel – Inspect for Signs of Corrosion and Leaks
- If unit is Old and Not Serviced Frequently, Recommend Chemical Flush or a Heat Exchanger Flush
- Visual Inspection of Flame on Atmospheric Units to Ensure Heat Exchanger not plugged or dirty
- Visual Inspection of Piping and System to Determine Correctly Installed. Note any system if run with Poly B
- Check home for working Co Detectors. Location and Age
